Open your black and white picture in Photoshop.
Make a new layer. Fill the walls with the Brush Tool.
Set the layer on Color.
Brush the skin.
Set it on color.
Zoom in and correct it with the Eraser Tool.
Use the Polygonal Lasso Tool for the star and other small objects.
Fill those parts and set them on color.
Fill in other objects with the same technique. Go to Object > Copy Merged. Paste it.
Go to Image > Adjustments > Color Balance. Play a bit with it.
Make the image a bit darker with Image > Adjustments > Curves.
The final colorized photo, try it out on your old black and whites!
